Yanpet President Sameeh Al Sahafi presented Almajdouie with the Best Loss Prevention System (LPS) Performance Gold Award 2022 in recognition of its commitment to LPS excellence. Almajdouie outperformed several other contractors to secure the coveted award.

Almajdouie’s LPS system is primarily focused on behavior-based safety, taking into consideration different types of losses. A loss is any unplanned cost, such as business inefficiencies, product quality incidents, reliability issues, safety and health incidents, government fines, and environmental incidents.

Almajdouie is the only Yanpet contractor with a certified LPS core team trainer who is responsible for ensuring all front-line employees understand the system’s requirements and sustain the company’s performance.

Regular awareness sessions are conducted to highlight LPS tools, including loss prevention self-assessment, job loss analysis, loss prevention observation, near loss investigation, and loss investigation. This helps to ensure the effective implementation of all processes and encourages team members to identify and report any potential issues.
